[tex]9x^2 - 18 x + 93= -6[/tex]
take away 93 from both sides
[tex]9x^2 - 18 x = - 99[/tex]
Divide by 9 through
[tex]x^2 - 2 x = - 11[/tex]
Add (b/2)^2 to form perfect square
[tex]x^2 - 2 x + ( \frac{2}{2} )^2 = - 11 + ( \frac{2}{2} )^2 [/tex]
Form perfect square
[tex](x - 1)^2 = - 10 [/tex]
Square root both sides to find x
[tex]x - 1 = \pm \sqrt{-10} [/tex]
add 1 on both sides
[tex]x = 1+ i\sqrt{10} \ or \ 1- i\sqrt{10} [/tex]
