How did laissez-faire capitalism affect the urban economy during the Industrial Revolution?

Laissez-faire capitalism enabled for the free transfer of goods which wasn't regulated and during the industrial revolution, a time of increased production of goods, this only helped and nurtured capitalism to its current state.
