jim’s car was averaging 15 miles per gallon. After he had a tuneup on the car, he had noticed that the car now gets 20 miles per gallon. what was the percent of increase in the miles per gallon?

The answer is 1.33333% multiply that number by 15 and you get your increase to 20 miles per gallon.
