Gifted students are
student with special needs as well. A lot of these gifted students are usually
underachieved because without special education programs, teachers might have a
hard time identifying these students and their specialty or their certain
giftedness may not be developed and hence it is taken into account. Part of
this is because educators as well may not differentiate the difference between
academic motivation and the special needs the gifted child needs.
