Explain why the following statements are equivalent a+(b+4)=a+(4+b)

They are practically the same thing because you're doing the same thing to each side.......(b+4)= does equal A and so does (4+b)...that also equals A because the A and the 4 are just switched around!!! I hope this helps!!!
