Well, silt soil is right between clay and Sandy soil, and it is too soft or light to hold water. Clay is the CORRECT answer. Clay soil is used for molding and it holds enough water because it is sooo thick. Sandy soil is too light to hold water. It is the type of soil you see at some beaches. Loamy soil is very good for agricultural purposes. I would love to take it as an option but I believe clay is more meticulous for this question.
