They have to be on constant alert each and every day, as it could be their last, a fear of a large explosion is always instilled on the back of their mind, sometimes inhaling gases spewed out by the volcano can cause breathing problems, however the erupting lava should keep the surroundings warm and the sunset would look amazing everyday(volcanic gases bend light in different ways which can cause breathtaking sunsets)
