During his life span (92 years) Ezra Meeker, a pioneer trailblazer, best known for his amazing twenty-five year struggle to interest the nation and especially Congress, in the marking of the Old Oregon Trail, over which more than three hundred thousand immigrants traveled in search of a life in the West.
