Answer:

I think speech should not be forced onto deaf people. Teaching deaf people to speak takes years of practice and speech therapy. If communication skills are not developed at an early age, academics, organizational skills, attention span, mental health, knowledge of social norms, work skills, and interaction skills will be lacking.
