if she sells 3/8 of her eggs theres still 5/8 of her eggs left. 5 meaning her current left and 8 is what she had in the beginning so you do a ratio equation

5 = 135

8 = x

x= 135 x 8 = 1080/5= 216 eggs in the beginning
