Answer:

a. RS= 3x + 1 =64

group like teams

3x =64 - 1

3x=63

divide both sides by 3

Ans: RS= 21

b. ST= 2x - 2 =64

group like teams

2x= 64-2

2x=62

divide both sides by 2

Ans:ST=31

∆ RS= 21 and ST=31
