Why are temperatures in san diego california usually cooler than they are in el centra california?

becouse of the see. You may have learned in Physics the the air moves in circle near the see . The hot air which is above the sand (and above the city as well) goes up and water from the see(which is colder as the specific energy of water is high), goes towerd the city(or sand)
