The inner role is the actual receptor that consist of up to 95% fibers of the auditory nerve. These cells are found in an organ of Corti in the inner region of the ear. The hair cells are responsible for the responsive mechanism of the ear. They respond to various sounds, that is, mechanical stimulation.
