The second volume :  V₂= 1472.9 L

Further explanation

Given

980 L at 71 C and 107.2 atm

13 C and 59.3 atm

Required

The second volume

Solution

T₁ = 71 + 273 = 344 K

P₁ = 107.2 atm

V₁ = 980 L

P₂ = 59.3 atm

T₂ = 13 + 273 = 286 K

Use combine gas law :

P₁V₁/T₁ = P₂V₂/T₂

Input the value :

107.2 x 980/344 = 59.3 x V₂/286

V₂= 1472.9 L
