Both the angles are interior angles on the same side of transversal , which means their sum will be equal to 180° .
So :-
[tex]9x + 1 + 11x - 1 = 180[/tex]
[tex](9x + 11x) + (1 + - 1) = 180[/tex]
[tex]20x + 0 = 180[/tex]
[tex]20x = 180[/tex]
[tex]x = \frac{180}{20} [/tex]
[tex]x = 9[/tex]
Which means :-
angle 9x + 1 :-
= 9 × 9 + 1
= 81 + 1
= 82°
angle 11x -1 :-
= 11 × 9 - 1
= 99 - 1
= 98°
Therefore , the value of x = 9 .
