The role of woman was to take care of the house and children. They also had to have the children and please their husbands. They couldn’t go out and drink, they stayed in the house to sew and cook. They could not vote, go to war, or work jobs. They had little to no rights and had to be completely submissive to their husband.
P. S. I despise what those women had to endure on a daily basis, they were so strong.
