kinetic energy = 1/2 X m(v)^2

= 1/2 X 88 X 12

= 528 j

Kinetic energy formula= 1/2mv^2

Mass = 88kg (convert to grams because velocity is in m/s)

Mass in grams = 88000g or 88*10^3 g

Velocity= 12m/s

Now kinetic energy = 1/2 * 88000*12*12= 6336 joules

Kinetic energy = 6336 Joules or 6.336 Kilo joules
