Given:

The number of sides of given polygon = 4

To find the sum of the interior angles of the polygon.

Formula

The sum of interior angles of any polygon is

[tex]Sum = (n-2)(180^\circ)[/tex]

where, n be the number of sides of the polygon.

Now,

Taking n = 4 we get,

[tex]Sum = (4-2)(180^\circ)[/tex]

or, [tex]Sum = 2(180^\circ)[/tex]

or, [tex]Sum = 360^\circ[/tex]

Hence,

The  sum of the interior angles of the polygon is 360°.
