Mehmed II and Suleiman I were similar in that they both expanded the Ottoman Empire. Mehmed II was actually the son of Murad II and he was born on 30th of March in the year 1432. Suleiman I was born on 6th of November in the year 1494. I hope the answer has come to your help.
