No. When you do 7/8 the decimal number is .875 but when you do 3/4 the decimal number is .75.
7/8 is larger.
Instead, 6/8 and 3/4 are equivalent.

Answer:

Jackie is incorrect.

Step-by-step explanation:

[tex]\frac{3}{4}[/tex] [tex]\left {x2} \atop {x2}} \right.[/tex] = [tex]\frac{6}{8}[/tex]

[tex]\frac{3}{4}[/tex] is equivalent to [tex]\frac{6}{8}[/tex] not [tex]\frac{7}{8}[/tex]
