Answer:

To find the y-intercept of a line you need to first put it into the equation y=mx+b

x+3y=14 (minus x from each side)

3y=-x+14 (divide both sides by 3)

y=-1/3x+14/3

Your y-intercept is the b in the formula above, so your y-intercept would be 14/3
