n=11

Step-by-step explanation:

n+1=4(n-8)

Expand brackets

n+1=4n-32

Take away 1 from both sides

n=4n-33

Take away 4n from both sides

-3n=-33

Devide by 3

-n=-11

Multiply by -1

n=11
