substitute  y=2x-13 into y=x²-6x+3

[tex]x^2-8x+16=0[/tex]

[tex](x-4)(x-4)=0[/tex]

[tex]x=4,4[/tex]

Put x=4 into y=2x-13

y = 2(4) - 13

y = 8-13

y = -5
