Whereas [tex]CH_3COOCH_2CH_2CH_2CH_3[/tex] is the butyl acetate, [tex]CH_3CH_2CH_2CH_2OH[/tex] butanol and [tex]CH_3COOH[/tex] the required produced acid, acetic or ethanoic acid (attached picture).
