Alice walker tells the story of an African American women. She had two daughters named Dee and Magee. They have learned to love their heritage in two different ways. For dee, heritage is something which must be displayed to the world and show the world what one has got. On the other hand, for Magee, heritage is not about showing off to others. Even if its not shown to others, the heritage will still belong to the respective person.
