Answer: this always helps me: same signs add and keep, opposites subtract, keep the sign of the bigger number.

Step-by-step explanation: if they they are both negative you just subtract them and keep it negative, and it it’s a negative and a positive you subtract the bigger number - the smaller number and keep the sign (positive or negative) of the bigger number. hope this helped:)
