ANSWER

129

EXPLANATION

The given expression is:

[tex]4^2×2^3- (14-16)÷2[/tex]

Deal with the parenthesis first.

[tex]4^2×2^3- ( - 2)÷2[/tex]

[tex]4^2×2^3 + 2÷2[/tex]

Deal with exponents,

[tex]16×8+ 2÷2[/tex]

Divide now

[tex]16×8 + 1[/tex]

Multiply

[tex]128 + 1 [/tex]

You can now add to get

[tex]129[/tex]
