The length of a rectangle is 4 times its width. Write an expression for the area of the rectangle. Let x be the width of the rectangle.

Area of a rectangle = L×x
L = Length
x = Width

If the length of a rectangle is 4 times the width then, L = 4x

Hence; Area = (4x)x
