(it's dependent bc it doesn't make a complete sentence. If you separated the sentence by where the comma is, you'd have 'After he presented his project', which is dependent, and 'Sirius Black got a standing ovation', which is independent. When you split the sentence, dependent clause=not a complete sentence, independent clause= complete sentence.)
