looks like...
a) 8mm fell in total
b) it was it's heaviest between 5 and 6 pm
c) the least amount that fell was at noon aka 12pm
d) 2mm increase fell between 3pm and 4pm
e) the mean aka average was 5 at 3pm. This is the middle point between all points.
