A) -2x +6y = -3 multiplying equation A by 1.5

A) -3x +9y = -4.5

B) 3x -4y =32

Adding both equations:

5y = 27.5

y = 5.5 Then we'll use Equation B to solve for x

B) 3x -4y =32

3x -4 * 5.5 = 32

3x -22 = 32

3x = 54

x = 18
