An ellipse has a major semi-axis of 20 cm and a minor semi-axis of 14 cm. find the area.

In order to answer the question, you need to know the formula area of an ellipse.

Area = pi * a * b
a = minor axis
b = major semi-axis

Area = 3.14 * 20 * 14
Area = 879.20 cm^2
