what is the first step in solving for ln(x-1)=ln6-lnx ? What property is used?

first step should be..
Quotient Property. ln(x/y) = ln(x) - ln(y)

ln(x-1) = ln(6/x)
then you can disregard the logarithm and just set (x-1) equal to (6/x)
x-1 = 6/x
